Jack's Chinese Restaurant - Authentic, Flavorful Chinese Cuisine in Victoria, BC

Food is always amazing, service is always great, and amazing value. Always come home with plenty of leftovers. We love Jessica! Some delicious dishes I've enjoyed at Jacks: Sweet & Sour Lean Pork, Mixed Meat & Seafood Tofu Hotpot (I ask for them to make it spicy!), Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Wonton Soup, Szechuan Chicken, Beef and Brocolli, Chicken & Brocolli in Black Bean Sauce (this one is salty, if you like that.), Ginger Fried Chicken (they serve it to you sizzling on a special serving pan!) and Salt & Pepper Prawns (I always ask for extra of the seasoning because it's quite good.) There's probably more that I just haven't tried yet, but needless to say they are great at what they do. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our meal at Jack’s. As we were staying nearby, we chose to dine-in. It’s a small, cozy place that’s pretty basic in terms of tables and decor but was absolutely fine. It was pretty busy when we arrived, with most tables already full, however, the service was very friendly and quick. The food was plentiful and delicious, so plentiful that we had a to-go box to take with us. We definitely had a good experience at Jack’s. I can see why it’s so popular and the reviews are so positive.

We started taking out at Jack's half a year ago. And it has always been exactly what we want. The food is great. The staff is fantastic. I highly recommend going to check them out. Especially when you are craving one of your favorites. It never gets old. Amazing.

Got the dinner for 2 takeout and it was nothing special but the food was good, no complaints the inside of the restaurant was a little sketchy looking but the staff we talked too were very friendly. Good choice for your basic Chinese food

Enjoyed my meal from Jack's today. Ordered plain chowmein and 2 egg rolls which were priced very reasonably. Chowmein had good flavor and aroma. The noodles were a bit thick but that is purely a personal preference thing and didn't take away from the dish. The egg rolls were good but I didn't feel blown away. They were a nice size and had good crunch with a delicious vegetable filling. Overall, good meal and would recommend to others. The restaurant was also busy upon arrival which eludes to other dishes probably being good as well.

In my opinion one of the best Chinese food restaurants in town the people that work there are absolutely wonderful which makes the atmosphere amazing as well.

Ordered take out around 8pm on a Friday, food was ready within 15 minutes. Prices were decent and comparable with other restaurants in the area. Food was hot and tasted fresh, lots of flavour in all the dishes. This will be our go to Chinese restaurant from now on. Would recommend, try it out!

Always good food. We are treated very well. So nice to eat in and have the food piping hot. Chinese tea is great, and the simple won ton soup with crunchy water chestnuts and sesame oil is my favorite! Eggplant, Kung pao chicken, Beef Chow fun rice noodles. More than enough food for the two of us to have leftover dinner the next day!
